Scholarship Overview

Are you an American Muslim scholar interested in having an impact on public opinion and policy? You might consider applying for Islamic Scholarship Fund Media Scholarship! Undergraduate (junior or senior) and graduate-level students (master’s, PhD, or law degree) are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Each year, the scholarship awards up to $10,000 to multiple lucky students who apply. The scholarship is funded by the Islamic Scholarship Fund, an organization that works to increase American Muslim representation in media and government. In addition to scholarships, the ISF provides funding, counseling, and real-world professional experience through internships and fellowships. If you’re passionate about using media studies, communications, and writing to improve Muslim representation while earning a generous scholarship, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility information

Applicants must be majoring in ISF-supported majors and enrolled full-time at an accredited university in the U.S., OR be employed full-time in an ISF Supported Field and be a part-time student at an accredited university in the U.S.
